I used one less row of the lace design. I suggest lining the straps with fabric or ribbon. They stretch considerably. Or try using a different stitch. My bag is not blocked.
TARDIS Stitch Markers
Handmade by Nichole original. TARDIS stitch markers were made using an Overstock Bead Supply 1 inch tall charm. Beads purchased from Joann, 12mm jump rings, and wire.

I shrunk the pattern down before printing it. I did not use the circle around the TARDIS. Instead I squared off the top and bottom and added some fabric to the sides to make it rectangle.
I embroidered the name using a chain stitch.

Lacy Crochet Market Bag

I did not complete the entire bag. I stopped after about 11 rows of the star design or 5.5 complete stars. I increased the strap from 60 stitches to 80. I used Patons sequins lace yarn in Ruby and a size 3.75mm hook. The bag is great! Holds up well to heavy items.
